Lindsey Allen

Executive Director of Rainforest Action Network, has more than a decade of experience pressuring and inspiring some of the world’s largest corporations to protect rainforests, human rights and the climate. A veteran environmental and social justice organizer, Lindsey has spent her career preventing commodity expansion into globally critical forest areas and has played a central role in achieving some of the most significant corporate policy commitments to protect forests over the past decade.

The Rainforest Action Network works at the intersection of three core issue areas: preserving rainforests, protecting the climate and upholding human rights, RAN takes on some of the biggest offenders on planet – including household name brands, major corporations and leading banks – and they get results. RAN campaigns are not designed to influence only individual corporations, one-at-a-time. Rather, we aim to shift entire industrial sectors and transform the global marketplace and RAN does this through the lens of corporate accountability and they get results.
